Waste that does not belong here has been removed from the bin. Wrong waste in the bin can lead to it not being emptied.
You can put this in the glass and metal packaging bin:
- Jam jars and glass bottles
- Baby food jars
- Glass mineral water bottles
- Food tins, cans and aluminium trays
- Metal tubes without plastic cap
- Tealight cups in metal
- Metal lids and caps
You cannot put this in the glass and metal packaging bin:
- Drinking glasses, crystal and porcelain
- Heat‑resistant dishes, ceramics and glass used in windows, windscreens or mirrors
- Light bulbs and fluorescent tubes
- Paint cans and other hazardous waste
- Electrical items
- Other glass or metal objects that are not packaging
Remember
Only clean and empty glass and metal packaging belongs in this bin. Do not use bags – place items loose in the bin.
